Add Microsoft Teams Device (Direct Routing)
The Microsoft Teams Subscriber
Notifications Service enables Live Platform to retrieve Call Data Records for Microsoft Teams Calls made by M365 tenant users. This connection is established by creating an registration on the customer Azure tenant with the required Microsoft Graph API permissions. You then extract the Directory
(tenant) ID and the Client (application) from the registration and configure them in the Onboarding wizard. When the customer service is created, a Teams device is added on Live Platform and appears as a separate tab in the Service details. If you are adding the Teams device in Day Two after the service has been onboarded, then you must configure the Application (Client) ID and secret for the service in the Service portal M365 Configuration page for the Direct Routing service.
This connection requires the Live Platform server Public IP address to be accessible from the Global Internet and
on the other side, the Live Platform server should have access to the Global Internet.
This feature supports a single Teams connection for each Azure tenant for the Direct Routing service only.
